Q. I am an “industry colleague.” Why is my registration $2,500/$3,000?
A. We have a policy which requires consultants, attorneys, vendors and manufacturers to sponsor at least at the Silver level. This allows those participants to take advantage of the intimate venue, quality program, and networking opportunities that, together, make for a superb marketing environment. Registration at the Industry Colleague level, therefore, includes Silver Sponsorship. For more information, view the sponsorship details here. Q. I am a speaker. Do I still need to register?
A. Yes! All presenters must register for the conference. This is so you can be registered as an attendee with all our other participants, reserve a hotel room, and be signed up for all conference activities.
Q. I am a sponsor. Do I still need to register?
A. Yes! All sponsors must register for the conference. This is so you can be registered as an attendee, with all our other participants, reserve a hotel room, and be signed up for all conference activities.
Q. Can I bring a spouse or friend?
A. Yes. There are many things to do at Alderbrook. You can sign up to bring a guest with you to the reception and Banquet festivities on Monday evening, for a fee. Add your guests onto your online registration form at any time.
Q. How do I book a conference activity?
A. When you register through NIPPC’s registration site you will have the option to include some or all of the conference activities. You will pay for these when you check out online. Note your password when you register, then you can go back into your record and add an additional guest or item at any time. Activities at Alderbrook Resort which are not associated with the Conference (kayaking, spa, etc) should be booked directly with the Resort and paid for separately.
Q. How do I reserve a room at Alderbrook?
A. Please call Alderbrook at 360-898-2145 and mention that you are with NIPPC to reserve a room our special rates at Alderbrook. If you would like a room beyond our two conference nights, contact our on-site Housing Coordinator, via email at: firstname.lastname@example.org and mention “NIPPC Meeting” in your subject line or call 360-898-5477. Please see the Accommodations page for detailed instructions and room rates.
You can NOT make reservations online through the Alderbrook website. These rates are guaranteed until August 10th. Make your reservations as soon as possible.
Q. Where can I stay if Alderbrook is full?
A. There are two nearby alternatives to Alderbrook: Robin Hood Village and the Little Creek Casino. Contact information for both is listed on our Accommodations page.
Q. What is the dress code?
A. The dress code is business casual, except for the Banquet, which is slightly dressier. Women, please be aware that there are cobblestone paths and grassy areas when choosing shoes.
Registration Confirmations, Changes and Receipts Online registrations will be immediately confirmed via email. You are able to enter a second email for a duplicate copy. You can go back into your registration record at any time and request an invoice via email or add an activity. All you need is your original password. Access the Registration site here.
Cancellations, Refunds and Substitutions All requests for refunds must be submitted to NIPPC in writing by mail or email. Refunds will not be processed until after the close of the conference. Requests received by August 21st receive a full refund less $250 administrative fee. No refunds will be made for cancellations received after August 21st or no-shows.
Substitutions will be processed on a complimentary basis. Email the full contact information for the new attendee along with the name of the attendee they are replacing to email@example.com or make the substitution yourself in your record online with your original password.
